Precision timekeeping is an important factor whether on land, water or in the air. The watches in our Terranaut series meet this requirement not only in terms of their design, but also where their name is concerned, with the Latin word "terra", which means "land" or "earth", combining with our nautical tradition to produce the name "Terranaut".
The design of the Terranaut watches bears a strong resemblance to that of aircraft cockpit instruments. This is complemented by the precision that is typical of our nautical instruments. The Terranaut therefore spans the gap between nautical science and aeronautics - between which there are a lot of similarities as far as time measurement is concerned, and not only in terms of its name.
