11.700 euros for the first … 11.700 euros for the second … 11.700 euros for the third … sold! Our online auction for the sale of the 10,000 S.A.R. Rescue-Timer, which was made shortly before the 20th anniversary of the use of the robust Mühle clock by the German Maritime Search and Rescue Service.
A very generous bid of more than six times of the regular selling price won the bid. The entire proceeds from the auction will benefit the important work of the sea rescuers on the North and Baltic Seas.
The reason for the anniversary auction is the close cooperation between sea rescuers and Mühle-Glashütte since 2002. In February of that year, the first S.A.R. Rescue-Timer were handed over to the foremen of the DGzRS after the watch was developed together with them and tailored to the extreme requirements at sea. Over the years, a close, almost friendly partnership has developed between the sea rescuers and Mühle-Glashütte. In addition to regular donations and specially developed special editions, this is now also manifested in the auction of the 10,000 S.A.R. Rescue-Timer.
We thank all participants in the auction for their helpfulness and congratulate the new owner of the 10,000 S.A.R. Rescue-Timer warmly to his new Mühle watch – especially on behalf of the sea rescuers.
