30 years in business. 155 years of tradition.

Anniversary year 2024

Nautische Instrumente Mühle-Glashütte is built on the foundations of a tradition that is as eventful as it is moving.

In 1994, Hans-Jürgen Mühle re-established the family business in its current form. However, its roots go back to 1869, when Robert Mühle began manufacturing high-precision measuring instruments in Glashütte.

Mühle-Glashütte is still dedicated to precise measurement today – especially in the form of high-quality mechanical wristwatches. These are not only committed to the family tradition, but also to the nautical virtues of precision, robustness and good readability.

Anniversary logo

To mark the 30th anniversary of Nautische Instrumente Mühle-Glashütte, we have developed an eye-catching anniversary logo. And we would like to present it to you here.

You will find the different years that characterise our anniversary. In addition, there is the lettering “Mühle-Glashütte” – while the name affix ” Nautical Instruments” is symbolised by a wave, which serves as the basis for the number 30.

Edition 1994

Our anniversary finds appropriate expression in the new “Edition 1994”. It consists of selected Mühle models that will be presented on various occasions during the anniversary year. In keeping with the 155-year tradition as an entrepreneur in Glashütte, the various wristwatch models are limited to 155 pieces. Each “Edition 1994” will be equipped with certain anniversary features. These may include various elements in Mühle blue – whether for the dial colour, case components or parts of the minute track – or the anniversary rotor.

Throughout the year, we will keep you informed here about news relating to our anniversary.
Whether it’s interesting information about the past 30 years, exciting new products and editions or one-off events – stay tuned.

For our last anniversary, we presented the Robert Mühle Mondphase as the highlight of our traditional manufacture line - in the anniversary year 2024, we are now focussing on the further development of our nautical-functional wristwatches. You can look forward with us to some very exciting models with new designs and complications.
