As idyllic as the views of Weltenburg Abbey and the Danube may seem, our hike will also be a feast for the palate. That’s because the courtyard of the abbey is home to the beer garden of the “oldest abbey brewery in the world.”
The first documented evidence of beer brewing at Weltenburg Abbey dates back to the year 1050. Even we at Mühle-Glashütte tip our hats to such a long tradition and look forward to enjoying a refreshing abbey beer with you.
