Our first limited edition in the anniversary year

The 29er Big BRONZE

Edition 1994

With the 29er Big BRONZE Edition 1994, we are launching a fine series of limited-edition watch models that our traditional family company will be presenting on various occasions in the anniversary year 2024. 155 exclusive examples of this first special edition with a bronze case will be produced.

In our anniversary year 2024, we will be celebrating the 30th anniversary of our family business in its current form. This will be appropriately expressed in the “Edition 1994”. It consists of selected Mühle models that will be presented throughout the anniversary year. In keeping with the 155-year tradition as an entrepreneur in Glashütte, the wristwatch models are limited to 155 pieces. Each “Edition 1994” will be equipped with certain anniversary features. These may include various elements in Mühle blue – be it for the dial color, for case components or parts of the minute scale. In keeping with the anniversary, the 30 on the date display is also highlighted. The same applies to the 30 within the minute track and – somewhat more discreetly – to the minute numeral 55, which has been replaced by a 155 to mark the years since Robert Mühle first founded the family business.

Attention to detail

The blue anniversary dial

The 29 Big BRONZE Edition 1994 has a Mühle blue anniversary dial with a red 30 instead of the usual 60. In keeping with the company’s 155-year tradition, the minute track is also marked with a 155 instead of the usual 55. The 30 on the date display is also in red.

Uniquely functional

The bronze case

Another special feature is the 42.4 millimetre case of the 29 Big BRONZE Edition 1994, whose middle section, bezel and crown are made from aluminum bronze – a material that is also used in shipbuilding and is resistant to both fresh and salt water. Over time, the bronze develops a characteristic patina that protects the underlying material from environmental influences. The patina typical of bronze develops individually depending on the owner’s wearing habits – and makes every 29er Big BRONZE Edition 1994 a unique timepiece.

Sophisticated

High level of comfort

The case back is made from easy-to-wear stainless steel and has a sapphire crystal. We have also ensured that the strap is comfortable to wear. The blue canvas strap has been fitted with a base on which the bronze pin buckle rests when worn.

Exclusive

The Mühle anniversary rotor

On the movement side, each “Edition 1994” is equipped with a newly designed rotor that is exclusively reserved for the edition models. It features our anniversary logo, which is engraved in the middle segment after finishing and electroplating. This makes it appear in its elegant golden color. On the other hand, the rotor is given its own cut, which accentuates the anniversary engraving particularly well.
