New dials in mint and apricot

29er and 29er Big go hand in hand in terms of color

On Friday, we will be presenting our new watches for 2024 at Inhorgenta in Munich and here on our website. However, we have thought of something very special for today: Because we’re releasing our new 29er models in mint and apricot in advance – as a little Valentine’s surprise, so to speak. Together with the colorful 29er Big models, they make a truly irresistible pair.

The 29er watch family was introduced in 2006. We named it after the racing dinghy of the same name, which is used by young sailors in the youth championships of the German Sailing Association. As a sailing dinghy, the 29er is a one-design boat – from the sail to the hull, all boats are almost identical. This also applies to the 29er as a wristwatch. Despite the different case diameters, the 29er and the 29er Big are like identical twins. The 29er is now doing the same as its larger brothers with a diameter of 42.4 millimetres and is starting the spring with two new, colorful models – and the sailing season that begins with them. However, while the 29er Big presented in 2023 is equipped with dials in sand and South Sea blue, we have slightly modified the color tones for the 29er.

New dials. Matching bracelets:

Details of the new
29er models

The new 29 models not only impress with their dials in mint and apricot, but also with their matching bracelets. The model with the apricot-colored dial is the first. This presents itself in beautiful harmony with the new straps. A sand-colored canvas strap and a brown vintage leather strap are available. The latter has a fine, polished texture that perfectly matches the brushed surfaces of the 29 mm case.

This also applies to the mint-colored version, which draws its particular appeal from the exciting contrast between the dial and strap. If you can’t decide between the sportier canvas strap and the more elegant leather strap or want to adapt the 29er to different outfits, you can swap the straps in just a few simple steps. This is because we have equipped them with practical quick-change spring bars.

The case

The case of the new models is of the usual high-quality 29er design. On the one hand, it is equipped with the characteristic flank protection, which reliably protects the screw-down crown from side impacts. The case, which is water-resistant to 10 bar, also has a scratch-resistant and anti-reflective sapphire crystal that allows an unclouded view of the new dials at all times.

The dials

A look at the new dials is not only worthwhile for reading the exact time, but also thanks to their aesthetic appeal. While the applied, shiny indices exude a touch of luxury, the red second hand adds a sporty flair.

Added to this is the incomparable clarity of the dials. This is achieved by moving the fine minute scale and minute numerals to the rehaut, while the dial bears only the indices and luminescent hour markers.
