Special material

Titanium

Compared to stainless steel, titanium has more of a matte gray surface color. With a special polish, however, we give the material an extremely elegant appearance - which makes it virtually impossible to distinguish between polished stainless steel and titanium.

black-grey
good readability
The sporty and elegant dial has a color gradient. This is darker at the edge of the dial, so that the numerals, hands and indices stand out clearly against the background.
polished
Rare shine
The Lunova Day/Date impressively proves that even a functional titanium case can shine with finely polished surfaces.
calendar
date & weekday
In addition to the pure date display, the Lunova Day/Date also has a useful additional function for displaying the day of the week.
new shine

the name "Lunova"

The Lunova not only shines with our well-known nautical virtues of precision, robustness and good readability - it also extends these with a case design that is unusual for Mühle-Glashütte, in which an unusually large number of surfaces are polished. For example, the case surfaces of the Lunova Datum are completely polished. This is where the name of this Mühle watch comes from: the first part is contributed by the Latin word "lumen". It means to shine, light or glow. The second part comes from the Latin word "novus," which translates as new, fresh, or young - making Lunova mean new shine.
