Teutonia IV Small Second
Business watch par excellence: wearing a precise Mühle watch is a clear advantage when meeting important business appointments.Business people can rely on the new Teutonia IV Small Second with a dark dial.
The case of the timeless business watch is made of high quality stainless steel. As is typical for Teutonia, its middle section has a vertical cut that is applied by hand. The tops of the volute-shaped horns are finely polished.
About 30% larger
A SW 461-1, Mühle version with a large “small second” and a large date, ticks under the dial. The date is around 30 percent larger in the Teutonia IV Small Second than in comparable watches and thus ensures that the date is easy to read.
The large Small Second
The dial of the Teutonia IV Small Second is particularly harmonious. This is also due to the SW 461-1, Mühle version. Its large "small second" allows a very balanced placement of the decentralized second display in the clean dial.

The design of the Teutonia IV
Characteristic of all Teutonia models is the elaborately crafted middle part of the case with its volute-shaped horns and the vertical cut, which is applied by hand. Compared to the Teutonia II, however, we have designed the dial of the Teutonia IV much more straightforward. In detail, this means: beveled roof bezel instead of stepped B-bezel - clean, finely grained dial instead of traditional guilloché or luxurious radiant cut.
Where can I find technical details for my Mühle wristwatch?

What precision can I expect from my Mühle wristwatch?
It is normal for mechanical watches to display a certain amount of tolerance because fluctuating temperatures, the tension of the winder springs or the position in which a watch is stored or worn can all affect its operation and accuracy. As we do not know how a watch will be worn, we always regulate our watches so that they are slightly fast, with a precision of between 0 and max. +8 seconds per day. Why? Because we want to ensure that Mühle watch wearers are never too late because of their time measuring instruments.
How often does my mechanical Mühle wristwatch need to be serviced?
Mechanical watches should be serviced from time to time. Over the years, the processes taking place inside the movement cause a certain amount of abrasion due to parts wearing. This abrasion contaminates the oil and sometimes forms deposits, which may cause the precision of the watch to deteriorate. We therefore recommend that our watches be fully serviced every four to five years. We advise wearers to get the watertightness of their watches checked every two years.
