Chronometer testing at the Glashütte observatory

Each Teutonia II Chronometer is tested for 15 days at varying temperatures and in different positions for its rate deviations. Only if it works within the narrow specifications of the German chronometer standard is it officially certified (deviation of the average daily rate between -4 and +6 sec.).
